Pirates

I was at the supermarket checkout yesterday. The boys were being good, but full on as always. I was still sick, slightly frazzled over home dramas, feeling overwhelmed and annoyed.

Then I saw the little box thingy of charity bandannas, raising money for Canteen- kids with cancer.

I bought 2 bandannas. I came home and played Pirates with my beautiful, healthy, cancerless children and I told myself to snap the hell out of it.  We are blessed with health. SOme families would love for the worst thing to have happened top them this week to have been getting the flu and not being able to go on a holiday.

Perspective. I got it.
