One Singular Sensation

When I was about 15, I watched the movie "A Chorus Line" for the first time. I was instantly obsessed. I watched it pretty much every day of my life until I was about 21. Then I had a baby, so I had to cut back to watching it once a week...

I don't know why this musical stuck with me the way it has. It has always been in my Top Five films. I love me a lavish Broadway Musical, and for me, A Chorus Line is the numero uno. I know every word of every song, every word of dialogue. If I could dance, which I TOTALLY CAN'T I would know every step. In my head, I am an awesome dancer and I can knock out the 'Music and the Mirror' routine like nobody's business.

I love A Chorus Line. It is mine. Like The Beatles, Madonna, Owls and Flowcharts are mine.

Then, last Tuesday, I finally saw it live on the stage, Broadway style, as Micheal Bennett intended it.

AND IT WAS AWESOME.
I was accompanied by my fellow Musical Theatre geeks, Greg and Sal- who were both equally excited. They have been subjected to be belting out "Dance, Ten, Looks, Three (Tis and Ass)" many many times over that last twelve years or so. It was very special to be able to share this experience with them,.
The show was so well done. All the singing was spot one. Our seats were fantastic (good job, Sal!) and apart from Josh Horner's at-times  forced American accent, it was absolutely perfect.

And I only cried a little bit.

Do you love Musical Theatre? Can you do Fan Kicks? Cos' I can do terrific fan kicks! Screw You Radio City and the Rockettes! I'm gonna make it on Broadway! Hee Hee......
